Unfortunately someone took it upon themselves to report the wallpaper as a copyright violation. Ironically I strictly mention in each wallpaper that these are widescreen editions of the official wallpaper available on BlazBlue's Japanese website...

It seems that some people have nothing better to do but to get their panties in a bunch over such things, since this occurred the DeviantArt staff felt it best that the images be removed.

Though I know that I did not break any copyright and gave credit where it was truly due in each deviation, I still do not wish to bring any legal action against DeviantArt so I will just find a better provider to place the images.

As far as I am concerned, any image that has any relation to any commercially available product is a copyright violation regardless of credit given and direct pointed to the original works of art. I noticed this after reading DeviantArt's policy on copyrighted material...

I wonder how any fan art can even exist under these rules, but I guess the answer is... They can until someone feels the art is better than their own and they report them for breaking copyright...

Once again I am not pointing a finger at the DeviantArt staff, it's just a shame that sites like this are forced to walk a fine line, sometimes so fine they have to take actions when they had no real need to, but that is more due to the current legal system in place...

Once I find a place to put up my wallpapers I will let you know, it's just a shame that it won't be easily accessible to anyone just looking for a wallpaper for their widescreen monitor (the whole reason I took the time to make these)...
